Pool & Spa Hours: 6:00am to 12:00 midnight

Quiet Hours: 10:00pm to 7:00am

The Cresta Palos Verdes pool is open year-round! Surrounded by lounge chairs and umbrellas it’s the perfect place to catch some rays, or just relaxing by the pool. The pool is not heated during the colder months.

The pool is for the exclusive use of homeowners and renters only. (See rules regarding guests) The Association works hard to ensure that every homeowner has a safe and pleasant experience at the pool. To help, the pool is monitored using 24-hour surveillance.

The purpose of our community pool rules is to uphold a family-friendly environment. Failure to abide by these rules may result in the suspension of the owner's, leaseholder’s, and guest's pool privileges. It is imperative that residents and their guests abide by the pool rules to promote an enjoyable experience for all.

Please note: The pool is not available for rent / exclusive use.

 

Pool Rules

  1. No lifeguard on duty. Use of pool is at your own risk.
  2. The pool and spa areas are only for the use of Cresta Palos Verdes homeowner(s), resident(s) and their escorted guests.
  3. Homeowners are responsible for the conduct of their tenants and guests. (Homeowner - property owner, and their immediate family members who reside at the same address)
  4. Children under 14 years of age are not permitted in the HOA pool area unless they are accompanied by an adult.
  5. The HOA pool gate must be closed and locked immediately upon entrance and exit to the pool enclosure at all times.
  6. Pets are not permitted in the HOA pool area.
  7. Standard swimwear must be worn while swimming in the HOA’s pool.
  8. Running and rough play and excessive noise are prohibited in and around the pool area.
  9. Common etiquette and courtesy to others using the pool is expected.
  10. No person is to consume alcohol, nor shall any person be intoxicated in and around the pool area.
  11. No glassware is permitted in the HOA pool area.
  12. No smoking is permitted inside the HOA pool area.
  13. No diapers in the pool. Children must wear undergarments with elastic around the legs and torso OR pull-ups specific for pool use.
  14. No skateboards, skates, or roller blades with the pool area.
  15. Personal responsible for damage of pool furniture or property will assume responsibility for repairs and/or replacement of such property. Removing furniture from the pool is prohibited.
  16. Climbing fencing around the pool/creek is strictly prohibited.

 

Tennis Courts

Welcome to the Cresta Palos Verdes HOA Tennis Courts. The courts are located just above the pool area with spectacular views of the ocean. Tennis courts are for the exclusive use of CPV residents and their guests. Reservations may be made by clicking the link below.

Please follow all court rules.

 

Tennis Rules

  1. Tennis courts shall be for tennis activities only.
  2. Guests shall be accompanied by a resident.
  3. Residents shall be responsible to see that guests abide by the rules.
  4. Tennis shoes shall be worn at all times. No black soled jogging shoes are permitted.
  5. Players shall never deliberately drive balls into windscreens or tennis nets or strike them with rackets.
  6. Players shall wipe their shoes before using courts.
  7. Pets, food, beverages (except water), or radios or other electronics shall not be permitted on the court at any time.
  8. When done, the responsible resident shall ensure the gate is locked and lights are off.
  9.  

    When both courts are in use:

  10. Two players shall be physically present and ready to play to take a court. One person alone has no rights.
  11. When playing doubles all four (4) players shall be physically present.
  12. Singles players shall be limited to practice, and one set of singles shall not exceed a one-hour time limit. (if others are waiting)
  13. Doubles players shall be limited to practice, and two sets of doubles shall not exceed a two-hour time limit. (if others are waiting)
  14. A nine (9) point tiebreaker shall be played at six (6) all.
  15. Warm ups shall be limited to five (5) minutes.
  16. Waiting players shall respect player's right to complete their sets with minimum interruption, disruption and distraction, if any.
  17. If a player chooses to practice and/or take a lesson, the total time for lessons and practice shall not exceed sixty (60) minutes.

    Reservations:

  19. The maximum number of reservations from one residence shall be two (2) per week. After 5:00 p.m. from November through April, and after 7:00 p.m. from May through October, reservations for the lighted court shall be limited to one (1) hour.
  20. Any child 6 years old or under shall be accompanied by at least one resident at least 16 years old. An adult resident shall be responsible for ensuring any child is responsible enough to be unaccompanied.
  21. Blocks of reservations may be made occasionally for special events sanctioned by the Tennis Committee and approved by the Board of Directors for the enjoyment of residents and their guests.
  22. Members of one (1) family or household shall not occupy both courts when others are waiting for a court.
  23. If three (3) players are occupying a court, play shall be limited to one set or thirty (30) minutes (not including practice).

 

Clubhouse

Located at 81 Cresta Verde Drive, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274.

The Cresta Palos Verdes Clubhouse is at the center of our community. It boasts a great room, gym, and kitchen. The focal points of our great room is the large fireplace and amazing panoramic views of the pacific ocean.

The HOA gymnasium is for the exclusive use of Cresta Palos Verdes residence. The gym is a common area open to all residence. Individuals do not have an exclusive right of use. Unless specifically directed by county health officials.

The clubhouse is available for rent or small groups under 10. The clubhouse offers three – 8’ folding tables, two – 6’ folding tables, and approximately 40 to 50 folding chairs. You may have rented tables and chairs delivered as well.

The kitchen offers only a large counter with a single sink, full size refrigerator, range, oven and a microwave oven. Most renters bring their own prepared food or have their event catered. The kitchen is intended to be for the convenience of serving drinks and clean up rather than for food preparation.

You must provide your own service ware, napkins, dishes and disposables. Trash cans are available inside and outside the clubhouse. The clubhouse provides cleaning equipment and supplies. The supplies are in the tall cupboard adjacent to the refrigerator. Paper towels are not provided.

The renter and responsible party must be a current resident of Cresta Palos Verdes and you must be always in attendance of the event.

No tents will be allowed to be pitched on the lawns or in the parking lot.

No fundraisers, or commercial sales parties are allowed.

No smoking is allowed inside or outside the clubhouse or in any of the HOA common areas. This includes the pool deck, parking lot.

Your event does NOT include the pool or gym.

Gym & Sauna

Working, and hectic family schedules makes it difficult to get to a professional fitness center. Cresta Palos Verdes is happy to offer our gym to help you meet your health and fitness goals. The HOA gymnasium & sauna are for the exclusive use of Cresta Palos Verdes residence. The gym is a common area open to all residence. Individuals do not have an exclusive right of use.

Unless specifically directed by county health officials. Please be kind and courteous when sharing the workout equipment.

The following rules and regulations have been drafted to address the use of the gym. The intent of these rules is to allow residents the right to a quiet and enjoyable workout.

 

Gym & Sauna Rules

  1. No one under 14 years of age shall use the exercise and sauna areas without adult supervision.
  2. Homeowners are responsible for the conduct of their tenants and guests. (Homeowner - property owner, and their immediate family members who reside at the same address)
  3. Guests shall be accompanied by a resident at all times.
  4. Equipment must be shared. No more than 30 minutes on any machine when others are waiting. Allow others to "work in" when doing multiple sets.
  5. Horseplay, profanity, disruptive conduct, and indiscreet behavior are strictly prohibited and are subject to temporary or permanent suspension of fitness center privileges.
  6. Residents shall keep these areas neat and clean at all times and to use discretion regarding equipment.
  7. Appropriate workout attire is required at the fitness center such as tee shirts, tank tops, gym shorts, or warm-up pants. Shirts must be worn at all times. Only aerobic or court shoes shall be worn. No open toe or open heeled shoes, sandals, or flip flops are permitted. Swimwear is prohibited.
  8. Equipment must be wiped down after use with provided supplies. Residents are responsible for disposing of all trash (i.e., water bottles, disposal wipes, etc.).
  9. Equipment must be shared. No more than 30 minutes on any machine when others are waiting. Allow others to "work in" when doing multiple sets.
  10. After a sauna, showers shall be required before swimming
  11. Food, drinks (other than water) and smoking shall never be permitted in the exercise area, saunas and restrooms.

Note: Cresta Palos Verdes HOA makes no representations or warranties as to the safety or reliability of the equipment and are not responsible for injury, illness or death from any cause, whether proper or improper use of the equipment or equipment failure. It is highly recommended that persons desiring to exercise seek the advice of a doctor prior to beginning an exercise program and that patron's use the "buddy system" and have someone accompany them while using the facility. All persons who utilize the fitness center exercise equipment do so at their own risk. Residents assume the full risk of loss and responsibility for damage to health from the use of the fitness center. Residents should consult a physician before using the fitness center.
